I am the Team Lead for Workers Compensation in Tasmania, currently leading a team of 9 claims consultants. Our main goal is to return injured workers back to their pre-injury duties as quickly and safely as possible. I firmly believe you need a high level of empathy and pro-active communication along with a strong work ethic to succeed in Workers Compensation. Most of the other things can be learned by training. I see myself as someone who is fair, understanding of individual needs, and 100% responsible and accountable. I am married with 3 children and love playing cricket, soccer, and the occasional round of golf.

I have been involved in the Workers Compensation insurance industry for 30 years. I commenced as a Case Manager and have undertaken a variety of roles including leadership and senior management over these years. As a Specialist Technical Advisor, I capitalise on many years’ experience working for insurers and the wide range of industries they insure. I have a can-do attitude and a great sense of humour and see immense value in mentoring staff and clients to understand the special nuances of workers compensation in WA.

I’m a Registered Psychologist with a master’s degree in organisational psychology, and have held a number of roles within the workers’ compensation industry over the last 14 years. I am passionate about de-stigmatising workers’ compensation and reducing the human impact of workplace injuries.
As the National Injury Management Team Lead at CGU, I lead and design solutions to assist injured workers to achieve optimal health and return to work outcomes following injury in the workplace. My team are experienced allied health professionals who support injured workers and our customers through the claims journey.

I am the Technical Advisor Team Leader at CGU. I have worked in Workers’ Compensation since 2003, starting in operations before progressing into Consultant and Technical Advisor roles, then becoming Team Leader at the beginning of 2020.

I have over 33 years’ experience in the Workers Compensation WA claims industry. Having held several positions over this time, the last 17 years have been senior technical roles focusing on collaborating with key clients, brokers, and claims teams with the aim of developing strategic resolution plans on the more complex, protracted, and litigated matters. I have an in-depth knowledge of the legislation having built strong relationships within the claims industry allowing positive outcomes at settlement, WorkCover, and District Court conferences. My role allows me to utilise my technical skills and experience on a national level providing confidence to our clients and brokers on their claims.

I am a Specialised Claims Consultant with the ACT Workers Compensation Team. I have been within the industry for 9 years.
I handle the complex injuries and litigation claims that require high touch and further comprehension of the legislation. I am currently undertaking legal studies which will further assist me with this. My focus is building relationships with the brokers and legal partners that I work with on a day-to-day basis to drive outcomes on my files.
