Tell us about yourself and your role

I have worked across the National Workers Compensation industry for over 30 years and bring specialist knowledge across leadership and coaching, strategic relationship management, account planning, portfolio management, strategic design, claims and underwriting. I have led teams across both underwriting and claims divisions at an Insurer level, as well as a Divisional Manager with an International Broker. 

I returned to CGU 3 years ago as a key member of the Victorian Claims team within the Customer Experience space and have since transitioned into Underwriting for Risk States and leading teams across WA, ACT, Tas and NT.

I am excited to be part of an end-to-end workers compensation business supporting and working with our valued business partners archiving mutual outcomes for customers.

Tell us about yourself and your role

I’ve been in the Australian Insurance Industry for approximately 25 years – pretty much split down the middle between QBE and CGU. I’ve spent the past 12 years at CGU in the Workers compensation space. I worked my way up from a Lead Underwriter to the Direct Workers Compensation Manager  (WA), before undertaking the role of Corporate Manager (WA).  As the WA Manager, Workers Compensation Underwritten and New Business, I am responsible for 20 staff who look after the WA underwritten renewal book and new business quotes for brokers in WA and the NT.  

Outside of work, I’m married and have 2 children aged 4 and 13. They keep us on our toes and there is never a dull moment in our household!

I have been with CGU 23 years spread across Victoria and the Corporate teams.  I am a Team Leader/Senior Underwriter within the National Corporate team in Workers Compensation, underwriting corporate renewals and new business.

I am aligned with key brokers, with whom I love engaging on the complexity of their vast work and stakeholders.

I have been with CGU for just over 9 years, all in the Workers Compensation department. I am currently a Senior Underwriter in the Corporate team where I underwrite both new business and renewals for WA and multiple state policies

Tell us about yourself and your role

I am currently a Senior Underwriter within the National Corporate team in Workers' Compensation. I have been in this role for approximately 15 years now, spread across both the WA Corporate team as well as the National Team, and have been working within CGU since 2004. I thoroughly enjoy dealing with the Brokers to whom I am aligned and the complexity of the work that I do. I recently joined the National Accounts team, underwriting renewals as well as New Business and getting to know all of the different States’ Worker's Compensation portfolios. 

Outside of work, my 7-year-old son and 9-year-old daughter keep me busy and we love to go traveling in our campervan on holidays.

Tell us about yourself and your role

My partner and I have 4 little ones aged 14, 11, 2 & 8 months. All of who, make what we do day to day that little bit easier. 

I have worked in the insurance industry for nearly 10 years, all of which have been with CGU in our workers' compensation area. 

Over this period I have worked in both the renewal and corporate new business space which has given me great exposure to the workers' compensation market.

My current Team Leader role involves managing a team of 6 WA and NT staff members within our renewal space along with quoting complex new business opportunities for our local intermediaries.

I’m a high-energy extro-introvert. I enjoy giving great customer service and being able to help the people I deal with, both internally and externally. I help with managing risk and appropriately rating premiums for our Workers Compensation clients, with a national focus. My team and I love to put the “H” in help!
